I just wanna share that among my streams of income, one of my favorite so far is trading online. It is something I can do anywhere and since I travel a lot, this is very useful for me as I can access it just with my laptop and a reliable internet connection . I use Olymp trade as my broker and its been reliable. Especially they have educational materials in their website that you can access through www.olymptrade.com/education. Those lessons helped me and should do the same for you!
Thinking Oanda? Not going to be starting with a lot of capital ($200-$300). Would like for someone to lead me in the right direction. I’ve been toying around on MetaTrader 5 and want to start doing some lightweight trading.
I’m just wondering, I know you can trade stocks on metatrader4 as well as standard forex of course, but do you get hit with pattern day trading just as you would for a regular stock trading platform like robinhood or TDameritrade? Like could I just indefinitely tnely buy and sell stocks with a small amount of money without getting hit with a 90 day penalty? Still rather new to all of this, so my apologies if it’s an obvious answer haha..
I'm working on an algorithm which finds arbitrage opportunities. Obviously they would have to satisfy a couple of conditions, i.e. no commission per trade, low latency (found this earlier), low execution time etc. I don't know where to start.

Evening all... I was having a conversation with a few traders from my town and they were getting concerned that the trading platform we use is trying to screw us with wide spread and market manipulation (Tin Foil hat stuff, maybe). I don't know if they are paranoid as they were have weeks where they were earning 40-60K a week using TD ameritrades think or swim program. now its down to 3-4k a week. I am a smaller trader than them and i am not seeing this but they got me worried. What sort of trading platform are you using and have you left think or swim because of similar thought ideas....

Quite similar to MetaTrader 4, this is one of the best forex trading platforms currently available.
